Business Plan Writer is operated by Ben Hankins. The current trial uses fictional business records. Public customer onboarding requires completion of the seller/contact disclosures and deployment checks; this page does not certify legal compliance or security.
Information used to prepare a plan
Authenticated projects store account identifiers, questionnaire answers, uploaded documents and extracted values, generation records, plans, and revision requests. Checkout records include payment identifiers and the terms/privacy versions accepted. Stripe receives card details on its own checkout page.
These records support account access, plan preparation, review, delivery, support, payment reconciliation, and service security. Share only information necessary for the plan, and only documents you own or are authorized to provide. Redact personal identifiers, account numbers, medical information, and unrelated third-party information.
Processing and access
The service uses authentication, hosting, storage, payment, and AI providers. Plan generation may transmit submitted business content to Anthropic's commercial API. Commercial API content is not used for model training by default under that provider's terms; provider retention and legal or abuse-monitoring exceptions still apply. This is not a promise of zero retention.
Authorized operators may access records to prepare and review the plan or investigate a service issue. No absolute security guarantee is made. The production provider inventory, access permissions, and operating procedures must be verified before real customer records are accepted.
Retention and deletion
Project deletion schedules records for removal after a 30-day recovery period. The retention process includes project records, uploaded source files, extracted data, and generated artifacts. Its execution depends on the deployed retention job; a deletion request alone does not prove the purge completed. Provider backups, billing records, and legal retention obligations may have separate lifecycles.
During an invited trial, reply to the invitation for access, correction, or deletion requests. Request completion confirmation rather than assuming an immediate permanent erase. A public privacy contact and final retention schedule are required before general availability.
Website measurements
The website records configured interaction events such as sample downloads and calls to action. Do not put business secrets or personal information in URLs. Any added analytics provider or material change to data use requires an updated notice.
